Ballina Arts Centre presents one of Ireland’s most high profile artists, Jerry Fish, live tonight, November 2 at 8pm. He came to prominence as the frontman of An Emotional Fish, (and gave us the rock anthem ‘Celebrate’). Two decades on, he is still producing widely loved, upbeat, music including the hit single ‘True Friends’ and two platinum selling albums Be Yourself and The Beautiful Untrue.

Drama fans in Ballina, Belmullet and Kiltimagh are set for a treat this weekend when Claregalway-based drama group Compántas Lir bring two comedies to each of the venues. Lambert Puppet Theatre returns to Ballina Arts Centre with its wonderful show Cinderella on Sunday, October 14, with shows at 2pm and 4pm. Monica de Bath’s work explores land use and people’s relationship with the land. The methods and ideas behind the act of mining and act of rehabilitation is the focus of PLOT/CEAPACH.
